Andrew Yap Education Centre was born from a vision to make quality mathematics education accessible to all students in Singapore. Founded in 2010 by Andrew Yap, a former subject head of the Mathematics department at Hwa Chong Institution (College Section), our center has grown to become one of Singapore’s most respected math tuition institutions. Guided by our mission of Excellent Teachers, Engaging Learners, we strive to deliver not only strong academic results but also a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.

Our founders’ combined experience of over 20 years in Singapore’s top educational institutions, including Hwa Chong Institution and River Valley High School, forms the foundation of our teaching excellence. Andrew Yap - Founder & Master Educator

Andrew Yap graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Master degree in Science (Mathematics) under the Accelerated Master Programme (AMP). He was the recipient of the prestigious Lijen Industrial Development Medal awarded to the student who wrote the best thesis in the Honours year.

Jasmine Yap - Co-Founder & Award-Winning Educator

Jasmine Yap graduated from the National University of Singapore with a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics. She was the recipient of the prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal awarded to the best performing graduate throughout the course of study at NUS Science Faculty.

Jasmine’s innovative teaching methods and caring approach have consistently produced exceptional results, making her one of Singapore’s most sought-after mathematics educators.

With class sizes of 10–20 students, we guide learners from Secondary 3 through to Junior College, helping them progressively strengthen their mathematical skills and confidence. Teacher Selection Process

Andrew Yap and Jasmine Yap will personally oversee the sound implementation of the Mathematics curriculum in alignment with the MOE syllabus at Andrew Yap Education Centre. The Centre has a stringent selection criterion for the employment of teachers to ensure that the Centre only selects the best Mathematics teachers.
